Colouring Skies

Hi guys, I apologise this has taken me all month to blog. I kept meaning to do it but just kept getting distracted by every day life. 

So this month I am back with an entry to the latest Make it colourful challenge to colour skies. I sat and had a browse through my Make It Crafty catalogue and found an image I wanted to have a play with, Rainbow dandelions. I also merged one of the digital quotes over the image, and set myself the ultimate challenge of trying to do this scene no lines!!

I actually surprised myself with how well the finished piece came out, but I do need to have more faith in myself and my abilities.

I used my spectrum noir pencils to colour the scene, then mounted it onto some white cardstock and put it into a box frame. I decided to keep the project simple for the focus to remain on the detail on the image.
